EU GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS DROP BY 4% IN Q1 2024

According to recent Eurostat data, greenhouse gas emissions in the European Union (EU) decreased by 4% in the first quarter of 2024, amounting to 894 million tonnes of CO2 equivalents. This marks a significant improvement compared to the same period in 2023, when emissions reached 931 million tonnes.
