DEFACTO presented at the Battery2030+ Conference European perspectives on batteries of the future.

Our Project coordinator CIDETEC presented the DEFACTO Project during the Battery2030+ web conference about European perspectives on batteries of the future, which was celebrated on May 25 and 26.

The conference was originally planned to be held presential, but it had to be reorganised in an online format due to COVID-19 mobility restrictions. Despite this, the two-days event was a great success and it counted with up to 750 online participants.

Scientists, industry representatives, politicians, and journalists from all over the world followed the programme, a display of research and scientific work on battery cell manufacturing in Europe.

Our project coordinator Elixabete Ayerbe, from CIDETEC, presented the current and future trends in cell manufacturing, modelling, sensitivity analysis and optimization. In addition, she explained the DEFACTO Project approach and how it links to the Battery 2030+ roadmap, a long-term research roadmap that outlines the actions needed to invent the sustainable batteries of the future.

If you missed it, you can watch the intervention in the following video, from minute 23:30
