DEFACTO AT THE VII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PARTICLE-BASED METHODS (PARTICLES 2021)

Our colleague Silas Wolf, Research Associate at Technische Universität Braunschweig attended the International Conference on Particle-Based Methods (PARTICLES 2021), taking place from October 4 to October 5 in Hamburg, where he mentioned DEFACTO in the framework of the multiphase and multiscale CFD-DEM simulation of suspension drying.

Sila’s presentation was focused on model development and first simulation results where he presented the applicability in battery research showcasing the advancements of the DEFACTO project.

PARTICLES 2021 was held in a hybrid mode due to the worldwide COVID-19 situation and the structure of the conference was organised in sessions including 5-6 papers each. The conference is one of the Thematic Conferences of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) and a Special Interest Conference of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM).
