DEFACTO AT THE ModVal 2022 SYMPOSIUM
On March 14-16, our colleagues Ruth Medeiros together with Eduardo Jané Soler from the Polytechnic University of Madrid attended the 18th Symposium on Modeling and Experimental Validation of Electrochemical Energy Technologies in Hohenkammer, Germany.
The event was organized by the DLR Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics and the main focus of the session was revolving around the advances made in modelling, as well as in experimental work for model validation for fuel cells, batteries and electrolysis. The symposium hosted over 100 attendees physically aimed to connect researchers in academia and industry.
There, Eduardo showcased the DEFACTO project under the topic “A guideline to the time-adaptive reduced-order modelling of lithium-ion cells” and Ruth presented a poster in the framework of “Time-adaptive reduced-order model for parameters optimisation of a lithium-ion cell”
The conference is celebrated each year in March from 2004 by an academic institution and it takes place in Germany or Switzerland.
