DEFACTO ATTENDS THE ACOMEN 2022 CONFERENCE

From August 31 to September 2022, the DEFACTO project was showcased at the 8th International Conference on Advanced Computational Methods In Engineering (ACOMEN 2022) celebrated in Liege, Belgium.

There, Fernando Varas, on behalf of Polytechnic University Of Madrid and CIDETEC, showcased the project in a symposium about the electrochemical processes for batteries and fuel cells: Modeling and Numerical Methods. Fernando’s presentation was revolving around Battery cell optimisation using time and parameter adaptive reduced order models where he explained some of the results obtained within the initiative such as the codes available on the page, design parameters, among other technical aspects.

The purpose of the ACOMEN 2022 conference is to provide an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in computational and applied mathematics with experts from various engineering fields.
